Until they come home from a dinner out celebrating their anniversary to find intruders. Tess Leoni has been hired by Justin's company to solve the mystery behind the Denbe family disappearance. The problem is there is very little evidence left behind. No ransom demand, no motive, just a pile of their personal possessions sitting on the kitchen table.
This story takes all kinds of twits and turns and just when you think you know the answers, the author throws in another twist. The only negative is the bad language that is interspersed throughout the book and is not necessary for the story line.
