The Insider by Sian Ann Beesey
Investigative reporter, Ben Cooper, has been living in a small village in Afghan for the last two months working on his latest project. Completely absorbed and isolated, he has had no contact with the outside world. Upon his return to his companies office in Kabul, he is devastated to learn that his twin brother was killed in a car accident. Ben's first goal is to get back to the US and his niece, Zoe, who is now his responsibility. The more he learns about the accident, the more suspicious he becomes and decides that everything is not as it seems.
This is a good clean suspense/romance that was an enjoyable read. It is a little slow throughout and somewhat predictable, but I would read something from this author again.
