The forgotten Garden by Katen Morton
In 1913, a four year old girl was abondoned on a ship set sail from England to Australia. She is taken in by the dockmaster and his wife and raised as their own. As a grown woman she tries to unravel the mystery of her past and then later her granddaughter picks up the trail and solves the mystery.
It was a pretty good, but long read. I did not like the switching back and forth between the different eras, it made the book a little tiresome. It is a long book with a lot of description, but there was enough mystery in it to keep me reading and to finish the book. The characters needed a little more developing to really bring them to life and draw you into their lives.
Overall, I did enjoy reading the book.

We do have 3 copies in the regular fiction section, 1 copy in the large print section, and 5 copies available in the book club section. It is a fairly popular book, so if you want to read it for your book club, you will need to make sure you put books on hold ahead of time.
